The summer school will take place in the third largest city in Slovenia, Kranj. Kranj is a pleasant historical town on a rocky pier above the confluence of the mountain rivers Sava and Kokra. Archaeological find, the old town, and its walls, as well as defensive tower speak of Kranj’s ancient past. Kranj has always been the capital of the Slovenian Alps, and due to the greatest Slovenian poet France Prešeren, it is also considered the cultural heart of Slovenia.

The Faculty of Organizational Sciences is a member of the University of Maribor and is based in Kranj. It boasts more than sixty years of tradition in the field of education and scientific research within the triad people-processes-information, which is the foundation of expert and managerial work in organizations. The Faculty of Organizational Sciences deals with the theory and practice of engineering of business systems, organization and management of information systems and organization and management of personnel and education systems. The mission of the faculty is to lead the development of organizational sciences in the domestic and international space.
